<sub>"Come on! Move!"

It was no use. His body would not respond no matter how hard he tried. Was this it? Is it possible that these would be his last moments?

Visions of his friends flooded the void in his mind. Inoue, Chad, Ishida, Rukia, Renji... The more people he thought of that relied on him, the more painful the fall became. They had all counted on him. Had he let them down? This thought saddened his already failing heart.

The farther he fell, the faster his memories faded. He closed his eyes, finally ready to accept this dreadful fate.

"Could it be that just this once...I can't?"</sub>

This is one of my first collabs ever. Done with Fun story.

It started as a challenge using the phrase "I can't" and I had the urge to draw wings. This was back in May. So I tried sketching a few and it was blah. Then I decided to practice some anatomy and since falling makes the body do funny things, I went with that. So Ichigo was drawn. Then I decided to work on details. Then, I suggested to ~Worsel that we make it a collab. And to my surprise, she agreed. So it went from a doodle to a full-fledged drawing.

I realize that this is a very unusually depressing drawing. Well, like most others, am human. I draw what I feel. I had been depressed for a couple of days and it wasn't anything about me but it was my dad. I have this "sympathy" thing and so when one person around me gets depressed, I tend to feel the same way. If this had not been a collab, it probably would have never seen daylight again. Which usually happens to my "depression" doodles.

But not to worry!

Depression is long gone. You probably won't see another depressing pic for a very long while, if at all.

Anyway, I did Ichigo and his line art, bg, and colors.
