My entry for *Club-Bleach's OC contest.
This is my Bleach OC: Saga Toukurome Age: Unknown Height: 5 ft. 3in. Hair color: Golden Eye color: Black Occupation: Shinigami, Squad 13 Personality: She is quiet but determined; quite friendly once she gets over her shyness factor. She enjoys walks in the rain, butterflies, and any food that is sweet. She joined the Soul Society Academy when she was young, but she was nothing special. She passed barely and only made it to the Gotoi 13 because of her hard will to get there. She was not gifted in fighting nor in just about anything else but she tried hard. Eventually, she was able to make progress with her fighting after studying those who were already in the squads. She is now an unseated member in the thirteenth squad. One of the things that proved to be a challenge for her was her zanpakutou. She cannot use bankai yet. Her shikai makes her use a short range form of fighting so she relies heavily on her zanpakutou's kidou to allow her to get close to her enemy to strike. Zanpakutou name: Yaiba no Kinkou (Blades of Balance) Release command: Suitai (Weaken) Shikai kidou attacks: #1) Kureru kyou Toru Kuroken (Give and Take: Black Sting) What happens: The attack requires the user to plant the blades ends of the zanpakutou in eight different locations across from each other.The blades release from original weapon and imbed themselves in the earth. As the blades are placed, they release a slight amount of negative reiatsu into the ground. This reiatsu travels and connects to the other areas affected in the same way, creating the lines in a star shape. The effect: Every time the enemy steps into the star of invisible lines of reiatsu, a little of his own reiatsu is sucked out. If he stands in the star, it sucks it continually till the enemy steps out. It is a very small amount sucked but it slowly takes affect on the enemy and he fatigues faster. The reiatsu is stored in the eight blades so only so much can be sucked out. #2) Kureru kyou Toru Shirokonmei (Give and Take: White Confusion) What happens: The user connects the white end of the zanpakutou into one of the eight points already set by Kureru kyou Toru Kuroken. As the white blade gets stuck to a point, the user forces out some of their own positive reiatsu. This releases the storage of the reiatsu that has been sucked out of the enemy back through the star. The effect: The overload of reiatsu travels back into the enemy as long as the enemy is within the star. This causes the body of the enemy to go crazy. It can't take the overload and makes the brain spazz out and the bodies muscles can't be controlled. Most enemies just collapse. Some weaker beings explode from the effect. Ok, now I am no expert in Japanese. I totally did all of the names self-taught so if I have made a mistake and you know it, feel free to help me out. Also, so sorry for the long description but it is a OC contest yes? We need that stuff. Besides, it took for-stinkin-ever to come up with. Also, wonderful inking effects on the drawing; it gives it a real comic-action feel, which makes it seem like your character hopped right out of the manga. So that intention of yours for that effect was spot on.
