Edit: I finished Aang up and gave him a wonderful background but it is so completely different that I decided to keep this one and move it to scraps and upload the revised one as a completely separate deviation. For revised version: [link]

Wow, this is really close to the original artwork. I can't believe you did this in Illustrator, I have so much trouble with that thing. Your shading is going outside the shapes which makes it look a little odd, especially on his hand. I'd love to see you do more Aang and more original poses. :)

Thanks. Yeah, this was my first piece messing with some new techniques in Illustrator. I am planning on fixing the shading problem and making a background for it. It has only been recently that I have thought of a nice background for it. As for doing more original poses, I have some scketched, but I need to quit being so lazy and scan them in. :P

Very good, but...Aang's eyes aren't brown. Or are they brown? I can't tell. Sorry, I didn't mean to be picky...I really do like this. ><

No, be picky. I am picky on other's work so what goes around comes around. :D Actually Aang's eyes are grey but it didn't look right. And thanks.
